Your Experience
You will learn about each of the B.E.I.N.G. steps and understand how they affect your life, and then design and put in place a personalized 5 Daily B.E.I.N.G. Step Process that will be part of transforming your life into happiness and health. You will learn and experience energetic healing journeys, sink into deep meditation, and learn about the power of essential oils in your healing process, incorporating personal reflection exercises.
You will participate in heart-based yoga practices, qigong, and sound healing and engage in hiking and grounding activities designed to connect you with the powerful energy of our natural world.
Each individual will receive 25 minutes of rapid results personalized private coaching based on surveys submitted prior to the event. During the session, you will experience personalized energy shifts and Reiki as Marla utilizes various healing techniques to help you permanently clear old beliefs that no longer serve you, allowing you to overcome setbacks and step into your power.
Your Guides
Our teachers and practitioners will guide you through group activities and individual work both indoors & outdoors. You will learn to connect with nature and exist in The BEING Zone, where you learn to “be” in the moment.

Every person is different and learning to listen to your body and your heart in selecting what feels right to you and following that will provide you with transformational growth and lasting change.
We are starting this spiritual journey by guiding you through the process of creating powerful intentions that will set the tone for your entire retreat experience. A highly skilled yoga instructor will guide you through daily yin yoga sessions. The healing benefits of yoga are recognized by doctors, researchers, and spiritual leaders. Whether this is your first experience with yoga or you have been practicing for 30 years, our seasoned practitioner will guide you through a rejuvenating, calming Yoga session custom-tailored to your current skill level. Embark upon your yoga journey or bring your practice to a new level while being supported by beautiful surroundings.
Healing Yoga

Sunrise or Sunset Nature Walks
Optional: Marla will help you connect with your heart and the earth on early morning or evening walks or hikes near our retreat location. Your experience will be heightened with a leader who will help you tap into the depth and power of the present moment and the earth. Designed for any fitness level, these guided walks/hikes will be an unforgettable experience that will help you cultivate mindfulness and presence anytime, anywhere.
Sound Baths and Drumming Therapy
You will experience a Sound Bath and Drumming Therapy that will help you vibrationally connect with your heart, mind, body, and soul as you experience a Crystal Bowl Sound Bath and Drum Circle during the week. Both are unique sound healing experience that immerses you in the vibrations of crystal and metal singing bowls, drums, and vocals. Designed to guide you on a soundscape of relaxation. Lose yourself in a dream as you float with these improvised sounds.
Participants lie on the floor in comfortable blankets and clothing and enjoy the healing vibrations of the sound as they drop into a dreamlike state. Relax. Rest. Restore. You will find the vibrations are like medicine. They will reduce stress, calm your system, and help increase vitality and energy.
Qigong and Taoist Meditation
Optional activities- to Step into The BEING Zone
In the afternoons, while personal healings are being done privately with each attendee, optional activities will be encouraged on the grounds to take full advantage of the location. Or individuals can choose private meditative work and journaling, massages, sauna or go explore the local parks and shops.
Healing art
Marla will have art supplies available for your use at the retreat. You will have the option of coloring mandalas and getting lost in time or creating Love Rocks to put out in the world to help bring joy to others. You will be surprised on how calming and relaxing it can be to just immerse yourself in the design. Painting allows you to release or embrace what you need.
Essential Oil Healing
A local expert will come in to share her wisdom of Essential Oils. Essential oils can be used in aromatherapy, a kind of complementary medicine that uses smell to improve your health or applied topically to the skin.
Studies have shown that essential oils may help:
- Boost mood.
- Improve job performance through reduced stress and increased attentiveness.
- Improve sleep.
- Kill bacteria, funguses and viruses.
- Reduce anxiety and pain.
- Reduce inflammation.
- Reduce nausea.
- Relieve headaches.

Why Marla?
The day my doctor said, “You will die if you don’t stop,” I realized I had to find a way to change my life permanently. After years and years of high stress and pushing myself too much as a key strategic leader in a rapidly growing company, I suffered multiple autoimmune illnesses, which broke down my ability to function. It took years of self-study, trial, and error until I healed myself permanently, transforming my life. Then it took me years of exploration, learning, and experimentation to see how my methods could help others create lasting change. I took what I learned and created The BEING Zone System. I have used this system to help thousands transform their lives. My mission now is to reach even more people struggling with stress-related issues and guide them to find their way to healing and transformation. I can do this through coaching, online courses, and retreats. Through my journey, I have gained valuable insights and tools that I love to share with others so they are empowered to create a life they love in The BEING Zone.
Marla knows from personal experience how to transition from living a typical life feeling like you are on a treadmill with too much stress, overwhelmed, or struggling into a happy, rewarding, balanced life, making a living doing what you love. She will teach you how to get out of your head and tap into your intuition to discover your true north so you can live the authentic, happy life you are meant to.
Marla is an intuitive, certified Energy Coach, trained in many modalities of Energy Healing, including The BEING Zone System, Timeline Therapy (TLT), Psych-K, NLP, Certified Hypnotherapist, Positive Intelligence, Positive Prime, Heart Based work, EFT, Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Shamanism, Feng Shui among others. In Marla’s early career, she was a key leader in helping grow a $12-million-dollar company into a $2.3-billion-dollar global corporation when she ended up with life-threatening diseases from stress, found traditional medicine made her sicker, and began her journey into natural healing. She learned to listen to her body, got trained in energy healing and various modalities to heal herself, and has dedicated her life to helping others learn to heal themselves while finding true authentic happiness within.
Why now?
With stress and stress-related illnesses increasing, people need this more than ever. Research has proven that stressors significantly influence happiness, well-being, behavior, and health. According to the World Health Organization, stress is the health epidemic of the 21st century. According to a study by the American Psychological Association (APA), around seven in 10 adults (72%) have experienced other health impacts due to stress. According to APA, stress is currently a national mental health crisis. Research shows that 2 in 3 adults (67%) have experienced increased stress throughout the pandemic. Nearly half of the adults (49%) indicate it has physically and emotionally hurt them. My expertise is teaching others simple solutions to decrease and manage stress while improving health and wellness. The time is now, so no one needlessly suffers as I did.
