There is study after study that show your emotions create your health. Your thoughts create your emotions. In other words, emotions are simply your body’s reaction to what you are thinking.
The problem is that your belief system and other unconscious thoughts are happening on autopilot all the time, and often cause emotions. That’s why sometimes you have NO IDEA why you feel the way you do. It may be deeply ingrained within you based on what you saw, heard, or experienced as a young child.
The cool part about this is once you understand the connection between your thoughts, your emotions, and your health and have the tools, you can take control of your life. You don’t have to be the victim of unconscious thoughts. There are simple tools you can learn that can turn how you are “feeling” right around.
For example, a friend of mine was in a lot of pain from trying to move a freezer on her own and wracked out her back. There was a reason for the physical pain, and she is icing it. The other thing she was automatically doing was focusing on how painful it was. The more she thinks about it, the more it hurts.
I did two exercises with her, and she felt immediate relief and was so surprized that her pain dissipated. One is what I call the Golden Vacuum which is a visualization of pulling out the pain. I have attached a recording of this below
The second exercise was my SHIFT tool which shifts how she is thinking and feeling about the pain in her back. She was amazed at how much better she felt in under 5 minutes on the phone with me.
