Did you know that your thoughts are the language of your brain, and your emotions are the language of your body?   Why should you care? Creating positive emotions connected to your thoughts related to what you want increases the likelihood of your thoughts becoming your reality. Let me share negative and positive examples demonstrating the importance of understanding this.

If you are stressed and keep thinking and saying, I am stressed, you are increasing your stress. Or if you don’t feel good, and you keep saying, I am sick, or I don’t feel good, you will probably start to feel worse. If you say, I have a migraine and can’t get rid of it, that will most likely be your reality.

If you want to feel calm and relaxed and create the positive emotion you would feel when calm and relaxed, you will end up in a much more peaceful place. Or if you want a promotion at work, instead of worrying whether you will get it or not, focus on how it would feel to have that promotion, how you would feel, and what you would do. You are then creating the emotion of how it would be if promoted and will be in much better energy and more likely to land the job.

You can create good days every day as you get good at this. So many of us are conditioned to feel happiness or joy when something good happens. The good news is you don’t have to wait for that external event. If you learn to create a joyful, happy, grateful feeling inside yourself without waiting for an outside experience to do it,  you will begin to feel happier more of the time. It is quite easy to do.   I recommend people drop into their hearts and think about pets, babies, friends that love you unconditionally, or places that fill you up and allow that feeling of love that love to expand through your body. When you focus on internal gratitude and amplify that out in the world, you will attract good things. I call it synchronicities.

To be even more clear, when you create positive visualization with positive emotions about what you want, you feel like you have already experienced it.   When you give thanks for that emotional, all-encompassing experience, changing the chemical state of your mind and body, the magic happens. You don’t have to have it yet to feel like you already have it.
